Setting Up Your Bet Tracker

🛠️ Tools & Features

The Bet Tracker is only useful if you actually log your bets. Here's how to set it up and build the habit.

What to Log for Each Bet

Required fields:
• Sport & game (e.g., NBA: Lakers vs Celtics)
• Market type (moneyline, spread, total, prop)
• Your pick (Lakers ML)
• Odds you got (+150)
• Sportsbook (FanDuel)
• Stake amount ($50)
• Date/time placed

Optional but valuable: • Why you took the bet (signal, screener, gut) • Edge % at time of bet • Signal present (steam, RLM, sharp) [/example]

Logging Habits That Work

  • Log IMMEDIATELY after placing the bet (not later — you'll forget details)
  • Use the one-tap log on game pages (pre-fills sport, teams, and odds)
  • Set a daily reminder to verify pending bets have results

What You'll See After 20+ Bets

Dashboard shows:
• Total P/L: +$340
• ROI: 6.8%
• CLV: +4.2 cents average (beating the closing line!)
• Win Rate: 54%
• Best sport: NBA (+12% ROI)
• Worst sport: NFL (-2% ROI)
• Best market: Moneylines (+9% ROI)

The Magic Number: 50 Bets

⚠️ Results under 50 bets are mostly noise. Don't change your strategy based on fewer than 50 tracked bets. Variance dominates small samples. Stay disciplined and let the data accumulate.

Start tracking today in the Bet Tracker. Even logging retroactively (from memory) is better than not tracking at all. After 50+ bets, the CLV Coach activates with personalized advice.
