Refund and Cancellation Policy

This page explains in plain terms how SharpWire subscriptions are billed and cancelled. It restates section 4 of our Terms of Service. If the two ever appear to conflict, the Terms of Service govern.

1. How billing works

Paid subscriptions (Sharp and Pro) are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe, which processes all payments and stores all card details. We never see or store your card number. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

2. How to cancel

You may cancel at any time from the account page, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal — it does not end your access immediately.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep full access to your paid tier until that date, after which your account reverts to the free tier. Your account, saved preferences, and bet-tracker history are not deleted when you downgrade.

3. Refunds

No refunds or credits are issued for partial billing periods. If you cancel part-way through a month or a year, you are not charged again, and the remainder of the period you already paid for is not refunded or prorated.

We also do not issue refunds on the basis of betting results. SharpWire sells access to analytics and data, not outcomes: nothing we publish is a guarantee, and losing bets are not a billing error.

4. Billing problems

The policy above is about cancellations, not mistakes. If you were charged more than once for the same period, charged after cancelling, or charged on an account you did not create, that is a billing error — email us and we will investigate and correct it. Please include the email on the account and the date and amount of the charge.

5. Changes to pricing

If we change the price of a plan, the new price applies from your next renewal and we will tell you before it takes effect, so you have the chance to cancel first.
